Darkness to Light provides a toll-free number for individuals living in the United States who need local information and resources about sexual abuse. Any individual, child or adult who needs resources about sexual abuse can call the Helpline.

RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. Among its programs, RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE. This nationwide partnership of more than 1,100 local rape treatment hotlines provides victims of sexual violence with free, confidential services around the clock. The hotline helped more than 1.5 million since it began in 1994.
RAINN also has a web-based hotline that provides live and completely confidential help to victims through an interface as intuitive as instant messaging.
